The shelves were lovely just as pictured. They were packaged carefully. It was nice that drywall anchors and wood screws were included depending on what you need. The video for installation was much better than the included pamphlet but it was so fast I had to watch over and over to understand how to use the anchors. Please do yourself a favor and really try to hit a stud! It may not be exactly on the wall where you want it but you don't want the shelf to fall down the road! The drywall anchors make huge holes in the wall. Thank goodness this shelf has the brackets 16 inches apart...same as most studs. I was able to hit a stud on each side. I have limited skills and no drill and was able to put mine up in a couple hours. The 1st shelf was tough- 2nd much easier! Tip- there is a free app called rigid level if you don't have one.

Loved the quality of the wood. Just wish it came a few shades darker. Great purchase.

I love the shelves but the engineering of these shelves does not make it easy to hang. It needs to be done perfectly. I was lucky my guy is retired carpenter and a perfectionist. The anchors are kind of flimsy.
